It seems like just yesterday Sarah and I were sitting in our photography classes with Kirsten and I was serving up coffee at McConn Coffe Co with Mike. Kirsten is also a very talented photographer and I was a fellow barista with Mike at our local coffee shop in college. I sure do miss those days.. but it’s a blessing that new memories are now being made! (Check out Kirsten’s amazing work here!)
Sarah and I were thrilled that Kirsten asked us to photograph her beautiful wedding as she walked down the isle to her groom. When we received their amazing hand-made wedding invitation, we knew every detail at their wedding would be flawless. Mike and Kirsten couldn’t stop smiling the entire day. Right before the first look, Mike couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he looked at Sarah saying, “Am I supposed to be this excited?! Because I am SO EXCITED!!” I still smile thinking about how excited these two were :)
Kirsten and Mike put their personalities into EVERY detail. They hung records from the ceiling, used cameras as centerpieces, had a photo booth with polaroids for guests to enjoy + sign and even had different plates and coffee cups at each setting. Yes. As you can tell.. their wedding was perfect.
This is where Mike couldn’t stop smiling. I love this shot! He was so excited to see his bride!
We love you guys and wish you the best as you move to Austin! Keep in touch, friends!
