Sarah and I had the pleasure of working with Jillian and Ryan for their beautiful ceremony at St. Paul Catholic Chapel and reception at Glendarin Hills Country Club in Angola, IN. They had quite the weather from wind storms, pouring rain and ended the evening with a beautiful sunset at the country club. Thank you for allowing us to capture your day with these beautiful wedding photos!

The Wedding Day

We woke up the morning of Jillian and Ryan’s wedding day to crazy, hurricane-like storms. My house was shaking from the winds, trees were down, basements flooding.. we have never experienced anything like it! We hopped in our car, drove SUPER slow up I-69 and met Jillian and the ladies at Static Salon in Angola. Just as we arrived at the salon, the winds died down (but the rain kept coming!). Jillian was so relaxed, enjoying the time with her ladies and was just ready to marry Ryan! You are amazing, Jillian!! Most brides would’ve been freaking out! ;) After the salon, the ladies hopped in the car to get dressed at Jillian’s parent’s house that sits on Lake George in Angola. Jillian envisioned having her first look with Ryan overlooking the lake, which didn’t quite happen how they envisioned. Like the rest of the day, Jillian took the day with ease and decided to have the first look in her parent’s living room near the large windows overlooking the lake. It was a perfect alternative! Emotions were running wild as these two shed a few tears seeing each other for the first time. So sweet!

Venues – St. Paul Catholic Chapel | Glendarin Hills Country Club

Jillian and Ryan arrived at St. Paul Catholic Chapel ready to get these nuptials started! The rain was still coming down, but their smiles were plastered on their faces. The ceremony was wonderful and these two smiled ear to ear the entire time. The newlyweds were ready to get the party started at Glendarin Hills Country Club in Angola, IN! And GUESS WHAT! Just as we arrived at the reception the clouds parted and the sun started to peek through. THE RAIN HAD STOPPED!! We were thrilled and so was Jillian! Just in time for portraits with the bridal party and the newlyweds.

Jillian and Ryan danced the night away with their friends and snuck away for a few photos during sunset. Yes, sunset photos! And a beautiful sunset it was! You HAVE to see the photos of these two on the hills of the golf course as the sun went down. Stunning!
