The Engagement Session

Arden has such a beautiful vision for her wedding and engagement session. As I continued to chat with her through email, I knew I wanted to work with her and Jeremiah! She has a love for simplicity, the beach and that organic feeling I love. I knew Arden from high school, but never had the chance to get to know her well. I wish I did! She’s genuine and has a contagious energy that you just want to be around. Arden and Jeremiah are working with the ultra talented Rhiannon with Hey Gorgeous Events for their wedding day next August at The Blue Dress Barn in West Michigan. The best of the best, guys! This is definitely a wedding that we’re more than excited to be a part of!

Sarah and I took a little adventure to St. Joseph, Michigan for Arden and Jeremiah’s engagement session. Sarah and I spent the morning searching for local markets to grab some fresh produce (our weakness is those cute little stands on the side of the road!!! Tis the season for those fresh, delicious Michigan cherries!!) We drove around with the windows rolled down listening to ultra cheesy music and found a cute local restaurant on the roof of a building overlooking lake Michigan. Lake Michigan is my #1 happy place. If I could, I would plant myself on the beach from June-August. I’m thinking of relocating the biz ;)

Arden is so naturally beautiful. Check out that hair flip we caught? Um, yes please! Can we do another beach session next weekend?? :) :)
