Grant and Amanda had an unbelievable day for their Indianapolis backyard wedding. The gorgeous sunshine, slight breeze, and 75 degree temps made for a stunning ceremony on the water of Geist reservoir. Grant and Amanda looked at several venues during the planning process before deciding on the location. What’s this perfect venue they found? Grant’s parent’s house! It was the perfect setting for what they envisioned. This home sits right on the water and has a rustic cabin feel on a beautiful, large piece of property that is surrounded with lush, green trees. There was no lack of photo locations, that’s for sure! Grant and Amanda had a vision to completely transform the gym on this property to accommodate a beautiful, intimate dinner party. The long farmhouse tables were lined with candles, greenery, gorgeous floral arrangements and wine. Their vision came to life thanks to their lovely wedding planner, Heather Renea, and the always amazing Meg Catherine from Meg Catherine Flowers. Dinner was served family style (a perfect touch with the long farm house tables!) and created on site by Brad Gates and his incredible staff. This entire day was a photographer’s dream and we enjoyed every second of documenting Grant and Amanda’s wedding day.
