As an Indianapolis wedding photographer I adore Spring weddings! It’s the most beautiful season in the Midwest and it’s so welcomed after the long winter months. Chau and Alex had the most perfect Spring wedding at the end of May at The Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana! The weather was beautiful, flowers in bloom, the sun shining, and the biggest smiles from Chau, Alex, and all of their family and friends! The Ritz Charles Glass Pavilion might be one of my favorite venues. It’s permanent glass structure gives you a full view of the beautiful landscaped gardens. It’s comfortable and cool, yet you get the sun shining through the entire space. Even after the sun sets it’s just stunning!

Chau spent the morning getting ready in her home! It was relaxing and filled with her family. The hair and makeup team came to her, and once she was ready, Alex came by and did a first look right in their downstairs hallway. It was perfect!

We then went to the always stunning Coxhall Gardens for photos of Chau, Alex and the bridal party. Is there a more perfect spot to twirl your dress? ;)
The day finished with their ceremony and reception at The Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana. What a beautiful day of both families coming together to celebrate this special couple. Alex’s family speaks Russian and Chau’s family is Chinese but the language barriers didn’t stop these families from enjoying each other’s company! They had fabulous translators and the day could not have been better.
