Downtown Fort Wayne Engagement Sessions are always a favorite. Meet Karah, Evan and Bonnie! We started the evening at the always beautiful Foster Park. I’m a firm believer that there’s no better way to start an engagement session than with a puppy. Especially a pup that looks like Bonnie! Despite her looks, she’s not a stuffed animal. She’s the most adorable little thing!! And maybe the most well behaved puppy I’ve ever met. She just snuggled and welcomed all the love. A real natural model! Do you see that smile? She leginitely smiled at me!
We then ventured to downtown Fort Wayne starting at the Allen County Courthouse. Karah and Evan will have their ceremony here in December, so they wanted to get some photos outside on such a beautiful Summer evening. We then walked to the Wells Street Bridge, and The Landing! Evan and Karah met years ago in this location, he proposed on The Landing, and now they’ll be celebrating their reception at Paper Mill on The Landing. I love it when couples select a location that means something to their relationship. It makes your engagement photos that much more special 😀
Fun fact – I shot Karah’s sister’s wedding a few years ago at Union 12. You can see Karah as a bridesmaid here :) I also see a small photo of Karah and Evan on the dance floor! So cute ❤️
See the photo above? It was in this almost exact location that Evan asked Karah to marry him! They also love dining at Nawa, the restaurant behind them. And I agree, it’s absolutely delish!
I had a blast with you both (and Bonnie!!). I look forward to your wedding in just a few months. Can Bonnie please join the flower girls??
Congratulations you two!!
Much love,
