We had such a great time with Kelley and Ben for their Mill Race Engagement Session in Northville, Michigan last week!

Mill Race

Kelley really wanted her photos at this little historic village called Mill Race. A historical village made the perfect setting for an engagement session!! SO many good spots to choose from. We just loved it!. Ben and Kelley made the session so easy as well. Ben even told Kelly (when we were out of earshot) that he was a better model than she was. HAHA I love it! Ben, we may just have to hire you in the future for your awesome modeling skills. But seriously, these two might as well be models… two blonde haired beauties!

Photos with Meaning

We always encourage our couples to choose a location that is not only pretty, but also meaningful. Kelley’s location idea was one of our more stranger requests, but quickly became our FAVORITES. We went to the Goldfish Swim School, where Ben and Kelley originally met.  Ben was a swim instructor to a bunch of little kiddies (awww!!!) and Kelley worked there while she was home for the Summer during college break. We love that these photos have so much meaning behind them! They are sure to cherish this location (and hopefully these photos!) for a lifetime.

The Wedding

Ben and Kelley are getting married next July at The Detroit Yacht Club! We are so excited to be back up in Michigan for this great couples wedding day. July can’t come soon enough. Congratulations you two, we will see you soon!
