Hey there, new friend!
I'm Rachel, the lead wedding photographer here at SR.
I love a good slice of wedding cake paired with a hot cup of coffee, and a groom that gets emotional when he sees his bride. Is there anything more adorable?! Heart melts every. single. time.
I studied photography in college and have now been photographing weddings for over 15 years. Weddings are sacred, emotional, and each one is unique. I just love that. No two weddings are the same!
I strive to give each couple the most amazing experience by only taking a handful of weddings each year. You deserve the best possible experience, with a photographer who responds to your emails and gives advice when asked. So much time, planning and effort goes into your special day, and I'm honored that you're considering having me document your memories!
We absolutely loved working with Rachel on our wedding day. She was on time, professional, had great ideas, and was very well prepared. Our ceremony was in a location with difficult light and she made sure the photos turned out stunning. We also sincerely love all of the shots that she thought to snap that we had not even thought of, such as glamorous pictures of our reception room, desserts, friends and family. Part of our day included my very sassy toddler niece and she was handled with such grace even when she was not cooperating for photos. My parents are thrilled we hired them and so are we. My husband and I have had a lot of fun sharing our photos with friends, family and social media. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

FROM PAST WEDDING COUPLES
We completely understand that planning a wedding is quite a large task, and we don't want photography and timelines to feel like a time suck. We strive to make your photography plans as seamless as possible. After the booking, we'll schedule your engagement session, and send reminders prior to your wedding day for things like payments and meetings. A final wedding day meeting will be scheduled 1-2 months in advance to go over final timelines, family dynamics and chat about all the amazing things that you have planned for your big day! But please know that we are more than happy to help with your timeline as you plan, and just give you advice if you need that from someone who has been to over 100+ weddings!
The day of your wedding will be unlike any other!
When our team arrives, rest assured that we have already discussed your timeline and we'll be prepared to capture every incredible moment. Can you tell we like organization?! ;) We'll start with the beautiful detail photos, document the bride getting into her gorgeous wedding gown, first looks, ceremony, reception, and everything in-between. Your day will be well documented creating moments that you'll cherish and remember forever. After the wedding day, we will work with you to create the perfect heirloom wedding album that will be passed down to future generations. Every wedding collection comes with an online gallery where all of your images will be available for you to view, download, and order beautiful photographic prints from.

Engagement sessions are a great way to have a fun night out, celebrate your engagement, and get a glimpse of what it will feel like to be behind the camera on your wedding day. We'll have a great time, I promise!
When it comes to picking a location, we would be happy to make suggestions.. or don't be shy to suggest a meaningful place to you both as a couple. Maybe it's a park that you two have picnics at, or a nearby coffee shop where you had your first date. Locations that have meaning make some of the best, most memorable engagement sessions with amazing photos! Do you have a cute pup-child? Bring that furry baby!
Travel fees may apply if you'd like your engagement session outside of Indianapolis or Fort Wayne

Sarah and I started this business over 11 years ago. When we started, we worked together at every event. Now, I (Rachel), photograph weddings and when you're ready to expand your family, Sarah will take care of documenting your future littles. She's AMAZING with the kids!

I've been married for 10 years to a coca-cola loving Red Sox fan, Colin. We have the cutest kiddos on the block, Grady, Porter and Hazel, and a furry pooch, Emma. I'm addicted to a good cup of coffee (with just a little cream) and a good girls night out with my ladies!

what made me what to photograph weddings?
You know when someone asks you what you want to be when you grow up? I always wanted to be a photographer. I wasn't sure what kind, but I knew I wanted to capture the beauty and unforgettable moments that you never want to forget. I fell in love with weddings while I was studying photography in college. I haven't looked back! It's been a dream working with couple's on the best days of their life!
